Eat on the dock

Pull up a bench by the water.

Order at the counter and take your claws, baskets and key lime pie out to the dock. Pelicans, dolphins and airboats included.

Fresh grouper, scallops, gator meat, oysters, Gulf shrimp, frog legs, mullet, Florida lobster tail, stone crabs and soft-shell blue crabs. We have plenty of ice to get it all home.

In a rustic setting overlooking the river where the tours begin, we enjoyed a plate of crab claws with their special dip. It was good value and a lovely setting.

The seafood is very fresh and well prepared. We got the soft shell crabs, the fish fingers basket, and the frog legs basket. Everything was delicious with a view to the mangroves.
